Student Instructions

We are lucky at our school to have four ANZACs as the names for our houses - Ward, Ngarimu, Upham and Elliott. Create a brief biography of person your house is named after. Make sure to include: - Their birth and death - Where they were from and what they did prior to being in the army - Where they fought during the war - Any awards they received while in the army - Why you think we are lucky to have our houses named after them Websites to use as a starting point: https://www.aucklandmuseum.com/war-memorial/online-cenotaph https://teara.govt.nz/en/biographies Dedicate a page in your Home Learning book to jot down ideas, and plan your writing. Make sure you write this as a set of paragraphs like we did for the people we admire. When you have finished, use the photo to take a photo of your writing. Tap check to submit.
