Sawl pili-pala a lindys sydd yn y llun - How many butterflies and caterpillars are in the picture?

Ydych chi’n gallu cyfri sawl pili pala a lindys sydd ym mhob llun? Edrychwch ar y fideo. Trafodwch gyda’ch plentyn pa mor anodd yw hi i gyfri pethau sydd dros y lle i gyd. Dangoswch os ydych yn rhoi pethau mewn trefn, neu mewn llinell neu grwpiau fod pethau llawer yn haws i gyfri gan eich bod yn cofio pa rhai yr ydych wedi cyfri’n barod. Gallwch ddangos hyn drwy daflu 10 darn o lego, neu basta, neu bensil ar lawr neu ar fwrdd a trio cyfri nhw. Yna rhowch nhw mewn llinell a trio cyfri nhw unwaith eto. Yna edrychwch ar y weithgaredd. Ceisiwch gyfri pob pili-pala heb eu symud. Wedyn cyfrwch y lindys. Yna symudwch pob pili-pala mewn i rŵp bach trefnus cyn gwneud yr yn peth gyda’r lindys a’u cyfri. Pa ffordd oedd yn haws? Can you count how many caterpillars and butterflies are in the picture? Watch the video. Talk to your child about how difficult it is to count things if they are all over the place as you forget which one you’ve already counted. Show them that it is much easier to count things in groups or that are in an ordered line. You can do this by throwing 10 Lego bricks or pieces of pasta or crayons on the floor before trying to count them, then putting them in a line and doing the same thing again. Have a look at the activity can you count how many caterpillars there are without moving them? Then count how many butterflies there are. Then move the caterpillars and butterflies into lines before counting them. Which way was the easiest to count?
