Caring for Earth: Water conservation

Grades: Kindergarten, Pre-K
Subjects: Science

Student Instructions

Water conservation is one way we can care for Earth. Water conservation means saving water instead of wasting it. Sometimes, we waste water without even realizing it, like when we brush our teeth and leave the water running. We can save water by turning off faucets when we're not using them, taking quick showers, and reminding other people to be water savers. In this activity, you're going to practice identifying water savers and water wasters. Tap add . On page 1, tap the link to learn more about being responsible with water. On page 2, tap the link to hear a story about saving water. On page 3, tap play to hear what I noticed about this picture. On the other pages, it'll be your turn to think about some pictures. When you look at each picture, decide whether it shows a water saver or a water waster. Use the pen to circle the water drop that shows your answer. Tap the check when you're finished.
