Decomposing Addends--Break Apart Method

Click the picture to the left to see a video example of how to complete this activity. Then tap add to begin. 1. Start on page 2. Use the move tool to choose and move an addition problem to the My Addition Problem box. 2. Solve the problem by breaking apart the addends into tens and ones before adding. Use the pen tool or the label tool to show your work in the My Work box. 3. Click on page 3 and repeat steps 1 and 2. 4. Last, tap the check when you are finished to submit your work.
