Teachers, save “This is a Moose” to assign it to your class.

Think about the character traits of the main characters in Norris/Lichtenheld's This is a Moose story. Choose your character- there is a bubble map for Moose, Grandma, the Director, the Animals, and a Blank Map for you to choose a character. Look at the sample (Chipmunk). Use the ARROW in the top right corner to change templates. Use the 'T' text tool to write two physical attribute adjectives and 4 personality/character trait adjectives in the bubble map. The goal is to describe the character by looking at how he/she acts, what he/she says, and the words he/she uses. Type each word separately Move the character trait box to the bubble you want AFTER you type the word.
