Student Instructions

1. Read all of these instructions before you start. 2. Open the activity link. 3. Use labels (label) with correct spelling and punctuation to create a title for today's learning (e.g. Rimu Trees) and fill out the first two columns with what you already know about this topic and what you want to know. 4. AFTER completing the K and W columns, do some research online. Remember to use at least three sources (different websites, experts, books). 5. Once you have completed your research (or as you are doing it) record your findings. Remember that you are trying to answer your own questions and that you need to write information in your own words. 6. Happy with your KWL chart? Assign it to your name, add a caption (caption) about what we have been learning about in reading and how you feel about it. You can use the mic if you prefer.
