Grades: 4th Grade, 5th Grade, 6th Grade
Subjects: Art

Student Instructions

Hi Artists! Today we are learning about the work of street artist, Tom Bob. Using street "furniture" like poles, signs, pipes, sewer gratings, fire hydrants, etc. Tom creates colorful and whimsical pieces that interact with their surroundings. From turning a sewer into a frying pan, to transforming gas meters into quirky lobsters, Tom Bob is making every city he visits a much happier place for everybody. 1. Watch the video https://youtu.be/IwvHQRdAmw4 2. Go to the Seesaw template and decide on one of the pictures of street furniture you would like to transform. Take a screenshot or download it and transfer it to Art Studio app. 3. On another layer, add details to your street furniture photo. What are some creative ideas you could do? How does it relate with it's environment? Does it display bright and bold colors similar to Bob's style? 4. Take a pic of your completed work and send it to your art teacher on Seesaw on the first slide. Have fun! Choose Happy! Mr. Belonio
