Teachers, save “How different and how similar are Rashad…” to assign it to your class.

After reading both books, Sarah's Passover and Rashad's Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, assigned to you on GetEpic, use a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast both stories. Both books will bring special celebrations from two different religions. These traditions are pretty different, but they also have some things in common. After you have brainstormed your ideas on your ELA notebook, share them here with our community. Here you will use the Venn Diagram to show the ideas you came up with about how similar and different these celebrations and the stories can be (page 1). You'll also have to compare and contrast themes you noticed from these stories (page 2). Have fun and learn more about these interesting celebrations!
