The theme of a story is the big idea or message about life that the author wants to share. Complete the graphic organizer for “The Magical Lost Brocade” (RWW P. 136-139) to record what Ping says and what happens to him. Then state the story’s Theme. Be sure to click the green checkmark to add the assignment to your journal when you are done.
