Student Instructions

seesaw Hello everyone! seesaw We have been looking at the long written method to solve multiplication problems, so please do as many of these as you can in the time allowed by your teacher for home learning. Answer each question on a new page and answer clearly using the templates on each page, which have half been done for you. You can copy and edit pages for the remaining questions if you have time to complete them! All questions are on the first slide of the example and attached for printing if needed. You can use the pen pen tool in Seesaw to answer if you wish. It may be clearer to use the label label tool, like I have in the templates for the questions one to eight. Remember - one digit in each square and make your workings out as clear as possible :-) It would be really great to hear you talking through your methods using the voice recording button mic where you could also choose to complete one live! An example has been done 'live' for you on page 2 to see how it can be done. Discuss the place value of each digit and how the algorithm for long multiplication works. Don't do all of them 'live' - that's a lot of pressure
