Student Instructions

Learning Intention: Identify a student in each situation who is correctly accepting the blame for the circumstances. It is important to be willing to admit to one's own involvement or contribution to a situation, especially when that situation may not be a positive one. Part of getting along with others is recognising our own part in difficult situations so that we can correct it next time. Thinking questions: 1. Did you ever mess up or make a huge mistake and fee awful about it? 2. Was it hard to take the blame for doing it? 3. Why do you think people don't like to admit that they have done something wrong? 4. Let's say that you broke a window. Why might it be a good idea to admit to that? 5. Do you think people who admit to making a mistake could be admired for being brave and honest? Directions: Circle the one student in each situation that is accepting the blame.
