Grades: 5th Grade
Subjects: Writing, Reading

Student Instructions

We are learning about Information Reports. We are learning to be communicator when we organise our thoughts into simple, complex and compound sentences. We are learning to synthesis our information into sentences. Open the example and watch it as many times as you need to in order to understand what to do. Then open the student response sheet. Then move the words to create your own sentences. How many different types of sentences can you make with the words given? Once you have made a few sentences, use the drawing button to annotate your sentence while thinking about verbs, nouns, pronouns, proper nouns, common nouns, adjectives, conjunctions, subordinate clauses and main clauses. Then tap the mic to read your sentences, ensuring that you're paying attention to punctuation. When you have finished tap the check button to save your work.
