Maths: Making Quarters

Today we are going to start thinking about 'quarters'. Quarters are when we split an object or amount into 4 eqaul parts. In fraction form, one quarter is written like this - 1/4. Watch the , then... 1. Tap 2. Tap the tool and take a picture of your 'quarter' examples. 3. Tap the tool and write a number sentence, with a fraction, to go with your pictures (like I did in my video). 4. Tap the and explain how you found quarter of the amount or object. 5. If you feel confident, look at page 2 and 3 for an extra challenge. 6. Tap the to add to your journal.
