Families: We're working on using ten frames to complete math mentally, without having to count it out (but using our fingers is ok when we need it!) Thinking about math problems in this way will help us build confidence to attack more difficult math problems. Guiding questions: What's 8 and 2? If 8 and 2 make ten, what happens when we add 4 more? What happens when we put 8 and 6 together?
