Student Instructions

"It's the little things....." Hi everyone! Today we will begin a unit where we explore the work of a few contemporary "Miniature" Artists and then learn how to create images of ourselves using different scale and proportions, using the Green Screen by Do Ink app. Our goal is to create an image that best describes our story in art. Are you someone who loves to do art? Then maybe it's you in your art space setting. Are you someone who loves to play soccer? Maybe it's you in the tall grass by your soccer ball. Whatever your idea may be, make sure to utilize the Green Screen app tools to create the illusion that you are small within this setting. 1. Watch the attached video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I07VmsD6wPY 2. Start taking photos with your iPad of at least two things - 1. Yourself in a specific pose and 2. A setting that best describes your background. (Optional: Since there are three layers on the Green Screen app, maybe you can add other images of your art, screenshots, or additional photos taken.) 3. Do your best in using the Green Screen Do Ink tools. Once that is done, capture your image, and save to your photo gallery. 4. Post your completed work here on Seesaw. BONUS: If you created more images using Do Ink, I would love to see them but this is an optional task. Next week, I will share how to use video using the Green Screen app as well. Be creative and have fun! Mr. Belonio
