Read this book at least two days in a row. By the third day, you should be very accurate and sound very fluent (reading smoothly, like talking). Click on the picture of the title page to begin to read the book. Read each page to your parent, babysitter, or an older sibling - if you get stuck on a word, try to make the sounds in the word - if you can’t work it out, your helper can tell you the word after you’ve had a try at it. After you read each page, your helper can ask you the questions at the bottom of each page and talk about those with you. When you have read the book two or three times, do the activity template (with a recording ) so I can hear how you sound as you read! OPTIONAL: follow-up task: choose one: a) Have you ever been in a play? What character did you pretend to be? Write about whom you were and what you were doing. Draw a picture to illustrate your story. You can then share this with me as a photo or a video recording. b) What do you know about rabbits or foxes? Post a note and write three facts about one of those animals.
Record yourself reading this page - make sure you have practised it first so you can be accurate and make your voice sound interesting.
