Student Instructions
Today you are going to learn to introduce yourself and spell your name using Australian Sign Language (Auslan)
1. Click the

and do the signs alongside the videos . You may need to watch them several times.
3. Practise making the sign to introduce yourself and spell your name.
4. When you are confident, record :record: yourself performing the signs.
If you want a challenge- also learn the signs to ask somebody's name.

This activity is designed as a simple introduction to Auslan. Students will learn to introduce themselves and spell their names. Please note, Auslan signs can vary differently from state to state. I have endeavoured to include videos of the most commonly used signs.
