Student Instructions

Today you are going to learn to introduce yourself and spell your name using Australian Sign Language (Auslan) 1. Click the add 2. Watch the video video and do the signs alongside the videos video. You may need to watch them several times. 3. Practise making the sign to introduce yourself and spell your name. 4. When you are confident, record :record: yourself performing the signs. If you want a challenge- also learn the signs to ask somebody's name.

This activity is designed as a simple introduction to Auslan. Students will learn to introduce themselves and spell their names. Please note, Auslan signs can vary differently from state to state. I have endeavoured to include videos of the most commonly used signs.
