Hi artists! Did you know that in China, they use a different traditional calendar and celebrate the New Year for 15 days? Today we will begin to learn about the Chinese New Year! We will first learn about its origins and soon build our own Chinese New Year Dragon! 1. Watch the video. 2. Complete Slide 2 of the Seesaw template. What is your New Year resolutions? What do you plan on doing more in the upcoming year? 3. Once you are finished answering the questions, click on the green checkmark to post to your art teacher. If there is extra time, sketch a New Year dragon. We will learn more about the Chinese New Year and start building and creating our own New Year Dragon next week!
