Student Instructions

Reading Fluency (End of the Year)

Before you get started, make sure you have a "just right" book using The 5-Finger Rule. 1. Record yourself reading the first two pages. You may take a picture of the front cover and add the audio or record a video of you reading. 2. Reflect in the comments how you think you did using the Fluency Checklist attached. 3. Write in the comments what your goal was from the middle of the year, if you met it, and why you think you did or did not. 4. Also in the comments, share a goal for improvement that you will work on for next time. 5. Go and evaluate another student's fluency using the Fluency Checklist.
