Page 2: Imagine you were listening to a conversation between Mae and her family when she was young. Use the

This activity was designed as a self-contained, stand alone lesson for use with KS2 pupils in the UK during lockdown. It can easily be edited to remove any activities you don't wish to use. It can be used as part of a topic on Space, Scientists, Female role models or Black History Month. The video is a clip from 88Brains Youtube channel. I am not a linguist and have pronounced these words to the best of my ability using Google for a reference on pronunciation.
