Student Instructions

Hello Kestrels! Today's English lesson is going to be all about apostrophes. First of all I would like you to visit these 2 web pages, watch the videos and have a go at the activities. This will help you to practice and remind you what different apostrophes are used for! https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zvwwxnb/articles/zcyv4qt (apostrophes for contraction) https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zvwwxnb/articles/zx9ydxs (apostrophes for possession) Once you have done that, I would like you to write me a sentence for each of the pictures from the Stone Age Boy book. I would like you to use a word that uses an apostrophe in each of your sentences. Try to use a mix of apostrophes for contraction (missing letter) and possession (who it belongs to). I have added an example for you to see how it should look. Enjoy :D
