This week, we will be using the video from the Literacy Shed "Alma" to drive our learning. https://www.literacyshed.com/alma.html WARM UP - play the video but turn off your screen! Listen to the music and decide what type of film this may be...! TASK 1 - PREDICTING (Page 1 on template) Turn on your screen and watch the film, pausing at the following times and make predictions about "what might happen next"... add your predicitions as typed text on the template. 30 secs 1 min 3 secs 1 min 31 secs 2 mins 13 secs 2 mins 55 secs 3 mins 43 secs 4 mins 40 secs And, the very end! What we happen in a 'sequel'? TASK 2 - Word Bank Creation (Page 2 on template) This task is designed to created a word bank to help you do a piece of narrative writing later this week. Watch the video and write down 4 lists of words - adjectives, adverbs, verbs and nouns - to use when you write your story. Add them as labels label to page 2 on the template; if you want them the same colour as the labels I have made, you could duplicate :duplicate: the label and edit the text for new words.
