Student Instructions

We are going to play a fun rhythmic pattern game today. Step #1: Watch example on video As you saw on the video each fruit and empty space symbolizes a movement/sound. You can decide your own unique movements/sounds and do it in whatever order you want. We used four tangerines and two lemons Step #2: Find two sets of small objects that you can use for the activity , have the children decide what they want to use! Suggestions I could give you: fruits, blocks, balls, clay, etc . Take into account the objects that symbolize the same movement should have the same color. E.g. red ball clap, blue ball smack floor. Get four plates or anything you can use to separate, it can even be 4 colored papers or an outline made with tape on the floor. Step #3: Find a spot on the floor and place your items. The song used for this game can be found on youtube by the name: oguruqoktkm. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgurUqOKtkM Step #4: Now it's your turn! Step #5: Send a video to your teachers! likelikelikelike
