Instructions for Pupils
Create a new ending for the gingerbread man or girl story by building them a boat or bridge to help them cross the river.
Materials: (All materials are optional based on what you can find around the house)
-plastic cup
- bottle
- aluminum foil
- sticks
- tape or glue
- clay
- blocks
- plate
Step 1: Make your own gingerbread man or girl. Cut him or her out.
Step 2: Draw and design something to help your gingerbread girl or guy across the river (ex. a boat or a bridge).
Step 3: List and find your materials.
Step 4: Make it.
Step 5: Test it to see if your gingerbread man or girl can get across safely.
Step 6: Improve or fix your design to make it better.
Step 7: Make a 
and retell your new ending of the gingerbread man or girl.
