Student Instructions

1. Think about the different styles of photography—portrait, landscape, cityscape, still life and abstract photography— that we've learned about together. As we've discussed, there is a lot of debate about whether or not abstract art is even art. Now it's time for you to share what you think! 2. Move around the classroom to find your own 'abstract' to photograph. Think about patterns, shapes, zoom and color. 3. photo Use the photo tool to take a photo of your abstract. 4. mic caption Is abstract art even art? Record your voice or write a caption to share why you think abstract art is interesting and valuable or why you think it isn't interesting or valuable. 5. After you've posted, find a classmate's abstract and listen to their answer to the question. Do you agree or disagree? Leave them a constructive comment to further the discussion.
