๐Ÿ– Crayon Letter Assignment โ€“ What To Do When you finish writing your crayon letter, you have two more steps: ๐Ÿ“ธ Step 1: Take a Picture Take a clear picture of your crayon letter. Make sure all your writing can be seen. Upload the picture to the assignment. ๐ŸŽค Step 2: Record Yourself Reading Use the microphone to record yourself reading your letter aloud. Read slowly and clearly. Use your crayonโ€™s voice to show the tone: Sound tired if your crayon is exhausted Sound sad if your crayon feels left out Sound excited or frustrated if that fits your crayon Remember: ๐Ÿ‘‰ You are pretending you ARE the crayon, not yourself. Your goal is to help the listener hear: How your crayon feels What your crayon wants Why it matters Have fun and let your crayonโ€™s personality shine! ๐ŸŽจโœจ

๐Ÿ– Crayon Letter Writing Task Today, you are going to become a crayon from the story The Day the Crayons Came Home. In the book, the crayons wrote letters to Duncan to explain how they feel and what they want. Now it is your turn to write a letter back! You will: Pick one crayon Pretend you ARE that crayon Write a letter to Duncan Your letter should tell: How you feel What your problem is What you want Duncan to do Two reasons why he should do it You should write in the crayonโ€™s voice, like the crayon is really talking. Be silly, be creative, but also be clear so Duncan understands your opinion. When you are finished, Duncan should know: โ€œThis crayon has a problem, and hereโ€™s how I can help.โ€
