Week Two: Thursday - Daily Write

6GH! We are going to continuing working on our writing stamina by writing for ten minutes. I want everyone to include some nouns and noun groups into their writing. To refresh yourselves on what nouns and noun groups are read the explanation ad example below. A noun is a person, place or thing. Example: The boy (noun) went for a stroll along the beach (noun). A noun group is a noun that also includes either a verb or adjective, this allows the writer to add more information. Once you've mastered nouns, a great writer uses noun groups to make their story more entertaining to the reader. Example: The large boy (noun group) went for a stroll along the beautiful, sandy beach (noun group). After the ten minutes of writing time, you will be partnered up with someone else where you will need to give them a star (*) something they did well and also a wish (***) something they could improve on next time.
