This video has an example of Words of the Wiser! Words of the Wiser usually help a reader or viewer understand or name the theme. Use the video when teaching students the Notice and Note Signposts to help them become a more active reader. You could also use this lesson or the lesson ideas when teaching personal narratives or fiction writing. Encourage your students to include a character that provides advice or words of the wiser to the main character in their own writing.
