Student Instructions
In this activity, you will create an artwork about the human body !
During this activity please think about these questions:
Q1: How do shapes help us draw the human body?
Q2: How do we ensure that our body is the correct size?
Q3: How do artists use the mannequin shape to create original characters?
You will need the following materials:
Paper
Pencil
Eraser
Ruler
Coloured pencils
This activity has two parts:
Part One: Reflection and Review (create mannequin drawings based on the lessons we have learned in class)
Part Two: Creativity (create original characters from your mannequin drawings)
Part One:
A. Listen to the voice instruction
B. Watch the video tutorial
C. Gather your materials
D. Draw the mannequin
E. Post your mannequins to the activity - use the template.
Part Two:
A. Use your understanding of the human body to create unique characters
B. Make a voice note
to tell us about your characters
C: Post the final work to the activity
