Student Instructions

I can write an acrostic poem. 1. Tap link to learn about acrostic poetry. Then, look at the other 2 pages pages and tap voice to see examples of acrostic poems. Sometimes acrostic poems are made with just single words. Other times they are made with phrases or sentences. 2. Tap add. On the 1st page you can see an example. 3. Now you will choose a person, place or thing you would like to create an acrostic poem about. It can be about yourself, a family member, a season, a sport, something you know a lot about. 4. Tap move and double tap to type that word down the side in the boxes. 5. Then, tap move and double tap to type a word or phrase for each letter. Some letters are harder to think of ideas for. 6. You can also choose to print out the paper and write and then take a photo to upload your work. 7. Tap the mic and read your poem aloud. 8. Tap the check when you are done.
