Today you will be practicing identifying author's purpose from an article. Together we will highlight evidence that supports the author's purpose to help answer questions about what we read. Next, you will read a Readworks article titled "A Hero with Heart" on your own. After reading the article, you will respond to the question set that follows. Use the label and mic to respond to the last question on the slide deck. 5. Review the article at the start of the slide deck to cite your text evidence. 6. Read the "A Hero with Heart" article. 7.
