Teachers, save “How to Download and use Google Meets” to assign it to your class.

This Activity is to show Scholars and Parents how to download and setup Google Meets. ⬅️ Click on this How-To video. Activity Directions: 1. Turn on iPad. 2. Find the Self-Service app on your iPad's home screen. Self-Service app looks like a box with each corner a different color. 3. Inside the Self-Service app, scroll through the apps and find "Hangouts Meet by Google" and click the install under it. 4. You may or may not get a pop up window saying it is downloading. You will need to press "ok" in the pop-up box. 5. Return to the home screen by pressing the home button on the iPad. 6. You will see a gray version of the app while it downloads. When it is full colored and looks like the app in the Self-Service app it is done downloading. 7. The "Hangouts Meet by Google" will now be named "Meet" on your iPad. 8. Click the Meet app to start the setup for Google Meet. 9. Click the sign in button. 10. A pop-up box will come up with your email address (@elkhart.k12.in.us) you need to click it. If you do not see your email click "add another account". You will then type in your email and password to add the account. 11. Finally, you will see a screen that has a button on the bottom "enter a meeting code". 12. Take a screenshot of this screen by pressing the iPad power button and home button at the same time. 13. Come back to this activity and press the button. 14. Follow directions inside of activity to upload your screenshot of Meet. 15. Press the in the top right corner to complete the activity.
