Long and Short Vowel Sounds

Grades: 2nd Grade, Kindergarten, 1st Grade

Student Instructions

Tap link to review the long and short vowel sounds. Then, tap add On the first page, tap the mic and then tap the move. Read each word. If it has a short vowel sound like the i in igloo you will move it to one side. If it has a long vowel sound like the i in ice cream you will move it to the other side. On the second page, tap play to listen to a word read aloud. You will tap the move tool and then tap inside each rectangle to spell each word. You will hear 5 words. You can choose either the basic list at the top or the ⭐ challenge list at the bottom. You don't have to do both. Tap check when you are done.
