Understanding Empathy - Pixar Inside Out

Being kind is not just about being ‘nice’, it’s about being able to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and imagine how they feel. No one likes to be told to ‘cheer up’ or ‘don’t be silly’ when they are upset. They want to be listened to and feel understood. This clip is a perfect example of just that. Watch it carefully, think about it and watch again, then answer the questions - either orally using the record button or in writing.
