Student Instructions

Write 4 simple sentences in your writing book about some characters we have read about. This might be characters from Goldilocks and the three bears, The three little pigs, Jack and the Bean stalk or The ugly duckling. Don’t forget your simple sentence should have: A verb – What’s happening? What is the action? A noun – Who or what is involved? You can also include details of where or when it happened. 1. add Press the green add button. 2. drawing Open the drawing tool. 3. label Press the label tool and type your sentences. 4. drawing Use the drawing tool to circle your noun (who or what) using red and your verb (doing) using blue. Put a line under your capital letter and full stop using green. 5. rec Press the record button and read back your sentences. pause Press pause to stop recording. 6. check Press the green tick to check your work. 7. check Press the green tick again to upload your work to your journal.
