Student Instructions

This week, we will be using the video from the Literacy Shed "Alma" to drive our learning. https://www.literacyshed.com/alma.html WARM UP - Hot Seating - Having re-watched the video, pretend to be Alma... What questions would you like to ask her? Some one in the class could be Alma, sit at the front on a chair, and others could ask questions of "Alma" to ascertain more information about her - a great opportunity to see some good acting! This process could be repeated with different children as "Alma" TASK 1 - Write a Narrative aimed at a 3 year-old! To show that you have secure sentence structure and can convey a simple plot effectively, attempt to write the story of Alma for a 3 year-old to follow along and engage with. Use the story Whatever Next! by Jill Murphy in the video example of where to pitch the vocabulary and sentence structure. You have a choice of methods for uploading your learning - either type it straight into notes :notes: or hand write it and take a picture of your writing. Remember to add a voice recording over the top of either the image or the typed text!
