Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

As a revision strategy, students can read drafts of essays and other Google Documents out loud into Seesaw. Students use the microphone to record their reading after adding their essay from Google Drive. Listening to their recording helps them catch errors/awkward word choice, and helps them improve their document’s sentence fluency. By adding their essays to Seesaw, connected parents and family members can listen in, too! This works perfectly when you have assigned an essay or other writing assignment that students are completing in Google Docs. To do this activity with students…. 1. Share this activity by tapping the green Share button 2. Students sign in to Seesaw. 3. Students follow the steps to complete the activity.
