Student Instructions
1. The suffixes -er, -or, -est, and -ist can have different meanings. -Er can mean "more" like when added to slow makes slower which means more slow. Sometimes the suffix -er means "a person who" as in teacher.
2. Read each word. Think about the meaning of the suffix. Use the tool to sort the words by "more" , "most" and "a person who."
