Find 10 objects outside - some that you think will either sink and some that will float. If you want, you can also do this experiment using things you find inside your house. Predict what you think will sink and put them all together. Put all the things you think will float in another collection. Take a photo of your prediction. Now test your items in a bowl of water, a sink, or a bathtub. Sort the items by whether they sink or float. Take another or record in a list what happened. Record your results. You could also video your predictions and experiment, discussing whether you were right or wrong and why you think things float or sink.
