In this activity you will build a model of a fruiting body and simulate the distribution of fungi spores. Set-up: Take 10 cotton balls and break them each into very tiny pieces. Insert the cotton ball pieces into a balloon. Inflate the balloon and tie. Tape the knotted end to a stick and stand the stick upright in a can of play-doh. Have one of your team members film this next step. You will only have one chance to do this so make sure everyone is ready before popping the balloon.
