Target: I can identify various properties of my mock rock. (We observe when we use one or more of our senses to find out about objects, events, or living things. An observation is a fact learned directly through the senses. Scientists learn about living and nonliving things through observation.) 1. Observe your mock rock. 2. Take a picture of your mock rock. 3. Use the drawing and labeling tools to label the properties of the mock rock (color, texture, luster, size, etc). 4. Record your voice describing the properties of your mock rock.
