Mary Blair was a Disney artist, who contributed to many classic Disney films. Her artwork is prominent in Cinderella, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and many others. Blair is best known for her efforts in the classic Disney ride, “It’s a Small World.” She is credited with helping create the concept art for the ride, and for her unique sense of color. Blair used simple lines and shapes, combined with striking colors to create her architecture and the clothes for the dolls seen in the ride. Week One: 1. Choose flags that you like based on line, shape and color. 3. Design your own flag! Create your own ORIGINAL flag, for your own country! What would your flag look like? What lines, shapes and colors would you use? 4. Upload your flag to the Seesaw template, and tell us about the lines, shapes and colors you chose for your flag.
