Student Instructions
1. Tap the add button. 2. Draw on Seesaw or take a picture of your written work. 3. Record to retell the characters, setting, beginning, middle, and end of the story. 4. Record to retell the lesson or any other ideas you notice. 5. Tap the check to submit your work.
This activity can be used as partner or scaffolded work in small groups or as an individual formative assessment. 1. Introduce character and setting story elements with a read aloud like Clark the Shark. 2. Introduce beginning, middle, and end with a graphic organizer like one found in Read Write Think or Florida Center For Reading Research. 3. Review all story elements and required Seesaw tools.
