Design brief: Over the next 6 weeks, you will be working to create a new food product - a new flavour of gelato or sorbet. The recipe for the new flavour will be developed, tested and produced by a food producer. Your first question to answer: What are the major features and requirements of designing a new flavour of gelato or sorbet? Have a look at the History of gelato link and conduct your own research to gather a range of evidence. Create a mind map or brain storm showing your research and planning of the following: - explore existing gelato and sorbet flavours - research the difference between ice cream, gelato and sorbet - investigate the nutritional value of them - explore possibilities of new flavours. On Seesaw, choose a way to show your teacher your research. This could be through a presentation, notes, recording etc.
