*** Meant to support HMH Into Reading Foundational Skills Module 1 These are student work boards. Consider whole-group modeling first before assigning it for independent practice. Press the draft orange check after each lesson. Slide 8 is meant to be reused over several lessons for Word Building and Chaining in place of actual manipulatives. ( I find the work boards lessen the management of letters, especially with a whole group. With small groups, I use actual manipulatives.) After spelling a word, I have the students use the back button to move the letters into a neat orderly format.
