Assignment: Write a Letter to Yourself Think about the work you have completed in Summit ELA 5. Write a 3-paragraph letter to yourself reflecting on your experiences in the course: • Paragraph 1: Describe what you are most proud of, and tell why. • Paragraph 2: Describe a time when you struggled or were frustrated. Remind yourself what you did to overcome that challenge. • Paragraph 3: Identify something that you read or learned that made you curious or inspired you. Tell yourself why you found it interesting or inspiring. Give yourself advice about ways you can continue to explore that topic. In your letter, you should do the following: (a) Include an appropriate greeting and closing. (b) Write in the second-person point of view (you/your/yourself). Example: You struggled the first time you used presentation software. You felt frustrated when you accidentally deleted a slide that you spent hours creating! (c) Present your ideas clearly, grouping together related ideas.
