Their care staff provides them with lots of enrichment, and one of their favorites is ice treats. Care staff makes giant ice treats for the seals with five-gallon buckets, and they are usually filled with fish! ***************** Optional Funtivity ************************** Activity: Ice Treats At home you can make ice treats with an ice tray (you can use fruit in place of the fish). Fill an ice tray with juice and berries to make a berry ice treat. Instead of a popsicle stick, lay a clean piece of string (or dental floss) into it to create a hanging treat. Freeze it, then hang up your ice treat and see how fun it is to snack like a harbor seal!
