This week we learned about different poetic structures in class using the poem Summer by Walter Dean Myers 1. Read My Teacher Ate My Homework and identify the poetic structures before you begin recording. 2. Use the label feature in a different colour to circle or highlight the imagery, repetition, and rhyming words in the poem. 3. Record yourself reading the poem and tell the kind of rhythm the poem has: slow, fast or medium?
