Listen to the Lost and Found story and complete the tasks

Grades: 2nd Grade
Subjects: Multilingual Learners, Drama

Student Instructions

Listen to the story. Look at each scene to see where the story takes place. As you are watching, try to think of exciting adjectives to describe what you can see. We will write new words together and find out what they mean. Then, we will discuss the feelings of the characters. (sad, happy...can we think of more powerful words?) After that, we will cut out the pictures and sort them into chronological order. (That means in order of time...what happened first, next, after that, until the end) Begin your story with a powerful opening...One ordinary day, a little boy was happily making his breakfast. Remember to use time tags, powerful verbs and add an adverb to say how the character does the action. Can you add adjectives to say what the place and the characters look like...Always remember to check for CAPITAL letters at the start of a sentence and a full stop at the end.Challenge: Can you add punctuated dialogue or other punctuation? ellipsis...? ! Add conjunctions, please.
