Write a Cinquain Poem π― Your Task You are going to write a cinquain poem about a topic of your choice (e.g. soccer, animals, weather, feelings, or something imaginative). π§ What is a Cinquain? A cinquain is a 5-line poem with a special structure: 1 word β your topic 2 adjectives β describing words 3 verbs β action words (ending in -ing) 4-word sentence β a feeling or idea 1 word β a synonym or summary π Steps to Follow Choose your topic π Pick something you know a lot about or enjoy Use the word bank π Find adjectives and verbs to help describe your topic Plan your poem π Think about your words before you write Write your cinquain π Follow the 5-line structure carefully Check your work Ask yourself: Did I follow the structure?
